In March 2012 the E3 Group was commissioned to create and produce the Snowman Spectacular Ball.
Traditionally the biggest event of its kind on the South Coast attracting an elite crowd from top business leaders to Brighton’s glitterati. The event is staged to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House, providing palliative care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from Sussex and South East Hampshire. Our strategy for producing the ball was simple – to create the most spectacular event to date!
Our creative team went to town, linking the whole event to a fantastical story, featuring Linda Lusardi as the magical Snow Queen. We then set to work designing an incredible stage set representing a Spectacular Ice Palace, we recruited a Spectacular cast of 10 singers and dancers to support a Spectacular line-up of entertainment including; The Sundaes, Matthew Vankan and a five piece live band.
The event was the most innovative to date with amazing pre-recorded video links filmed with Linda Lusardi as a ‘virtual host’, incredible light-up table centres linking into the lighting design and fantastic bespoke costumes produced for our lead characters Jack Frost and The Ice Master, all showcasing the spectacular skills of our production team. In addition, we were also responsible for the project management of all the marketing and print materials including a 24 page programme.
We were thrilled that our spectacular production encouraged some truly spectacular fundraising, with a record-breaking £270,143 raised on the night!
