Celebrity and Entertainment Booking Fees

Costs to book celebrities and entertainers vary according to a range of factors including: the date and location of your event; how long you require the artist for; the type of event you are organising and the number of guests; plus any accompanying elements (for example, sound and light installation for your venue). However, we can offer the following guidelines:

Major Celebrities and Pop Groups

Chart-topping bands and popular television stars are in constant demand and their fees reflect this. TV stars such as Russell Brand, Derren Brown and Alan Carr can command in excess of £20,000 for a one hour private performance. Groups such as Girls Aloud or McFly have fees in the region of £150,000 for both private and corporate event appearances. Major international celebrities such as George Michael or Madonna can be very hard to secure but when they are available their fees are over £1million.

The X-Factor and Britain's Got Talent

Acts that make it through to the finals of both the X-Factor and Britain's Got Talent are very much in demand for private and corporate events. Fees for most of these acts will start in the region of £2,000 but can be significantly more. 2009 BGT acts Susan Boyle, Flawless and series winners Diversity, for example, have fees over £10,000.

Celebrities and Television Entertainers

The majority of celebrities and television personalities command fees over £2,000 for private and corporate bookings. Television presenters such as Steve Jones, Stephen Mulhern, Terry Christian and Linda Barker all have fees in the region of £4,000 to £10,000.

Soap Stars and Big Brother Contestants

Event planners looking to raise the profile of their events on lower budgets can consider hiring former soap stars and Big Brother contestants. Fees for stars from the Channel 4 show start at around £500, whilst many soap actors can be booked from around £1,000. Successful contestants from Big Brother who are still pursuing media careers have higher fees. So, Kate Lawler, Brian Dowling and Craig Philips, for example, have fees in the region of £2,000 to £4,000.

Entertainers, Bands and Other Acts
