As a vocalist, Suzi Woods' repertoire is broad enough to suit most tastes. She owns a Mackie 900W PA and lights, wears costumes ranging from full fifties glamour to "noughties" no-holds-barred! In addition, she often works alongside one of the best up and coming band leaders: Mr Simon Currie who can provide anything from a 5-piece to an 18-piece line up, specializing in party and Big Band sounds. When the need arises Suzi can tailor her act to be a mellow flow of jazzier tinged, soulful songs guaranteed to enhance any atmosphere!

Suzi`s early career was spent as a singer/songwriter in acoustic duo Building Rome. She completed a full UK tour with Jools Holland and, upon his invitation, recorded a 4 track CD at his studio. Other tour supports included, Kirsty MacColl, Labi Siffre, John Martyn, Hugh Cornwell and Tom Robinson amongst others.

In 2000 Suzi joined the cast of BBC1`s Casualty and spent five years there as "regular" receptionist. She sang for the cast and crew at all Christmas and "End of Wrap" parties and duetted with Ian Kelsey. In 2001 she made an appearance at the London Palladium following a sell out show, at Weston Playhouse Theatre, of Perfectly Frank and Friends. She performed numerous solos including Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend, Teacher’s Pet and Ole Devil Called Love.

In 2002 Suzi appeared on Footballers’ Wives playing the wedding singer at Chardonnay`s wedding, episodes 6 and 7. In July of the following year she performed at Birmingham`s Fireworks Fantasia singing to approximately 15,000 people All That Jazz, Diamonds Are Forever and Up Where We Belong. Suzi also added to her songwriting credits in 2003 penning the title track on Full Flava`s second album Colour of My Soul , available through Dome Records and released in May that year.

More recently Suzi has performed with Stephen Triffitt and Mark Adams from the West End`s The Rat Pack at Slaney Castle, Dublin. She made a special appearance at David and Victoria Beckham`s Christening Celebration with Elton John, where she performed two sets with the Simon Currie Swing Band.
