Sophie Pentecost is an extremely talented and highly trained classical singer. She has a huge amount of passion for music which really developed when she became part of one of the most prestigious choirs in the UK, Winchester Cathedral Girls’ Choir, at just thirteen years old. Sophie went on to become Deputy Head Chorister, further emphasising her immense talent at such a young age.

Sophie’s abilities won a scholarship to Sherborne School for Girls and the ensuing two years saw her career move from strength to strength. She performed Bach`s Jaucet Gott in Allen Launden at Sherborne Abbey alongside famous trumpeter Chrispian Steele-Perkins, as well as performing as a soloist in all four movements of Vivaldi`s Motet, Nulla in Mundo Pax Sincera. She received a standing ovation for her exceptional performance and soon after, her Classical idol Dame Emma Kirkby, invited Sophie to her home and asked her to perform. Dame Emma then gave valuable feedback and vocal tips after being inspired by Sophie and her extraordinary voice.

Sophie has recently performed in The Marriage of Figaro and has astonished audiences at weddings and concerts with her constantly maturing sound. Sophie is a special talent who can enchant and delight at any occasion imaginable.
