Multi-award winning singer Shel Macrae is regarded as one of Britain`s greatest entertainers.

It was in the sixties that he joined world-famous harmony pop group The Fortunes and it was with them that his stunning vocals featured on the following hits: You`ve Got Your Troubles, Here it Comes Again, Freedom Come Freedom Go, Storm in a Teacup and Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again.

During his thirteen years with the band Shel gained invaluable experience working all over the world alongside star names such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Sonny and Cher, Abba and Tom Jones. He sang in two Royal Command Performances at the London Palladium and his unique vocals featured on the first Coca Cola jingle, It`s the Real Thing. Shel has also managed to accrue throughout his career over 200 television appearances.

Today, as a solo performer, Shel Macrae is known for the range and quality of his voice. He has recently been performing to great acclaim across Europe and regularly tops the bill at major charity golf events in the UK such as The Norman Wisdom Classic. He`s also had a number of successful engagements in the Corporate World, working for companies like British Airways.

As a solo artist he`s equally famous in the UK and on the continent touring in Spain and the Mediterranean on a regular basis. In 2001, Shel worked with a four piece Spanish band for Romantic Corporate, topping the bill at the biggest hotels in Majorca including the main square at Santa Ponza in front of several thousand people.
