Leee John exploded on to the music scene in 1981 with his soul-funk group Imagination, enjoying international hits with Body Talk and Just an Illusion. He has achieved that rare distinction of longevity and high profile in the fast changing and variable world of popular music.

With a career spanning over 25 years, Leee John has worked alongside a number of top producers and musicians including, Preston Glass, Ron Kersey and Robert Kraft, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, David Morales, Mark Kaymens in New York and Mike Pickering and Graeme Park in Manchester.

Leee`s songwriter credits include Maxi Priest, Byron Stingley, Club 69, ex Zouk Machine vocalist Jane Boisdur, MOBO Award winner Pete Hunnigale, Alison Limerick and Ultimate Chaos. Leee was also a Back Beat Disciple as well as co-writer on the Arthur Baker album Give Into The Rhythm .
