Anthony Kavanagh came to prominence as a pop star in the late nineties with the release of his studio albums Kavana (1997) and Instinct (1999).

He enjoyed a number of chart singles including Crazy Chance, Thank You, Special Kind of Something, I Can Make You Feel Good, MFEO and Will You Wait for Me.

Kavana`s new material which is more Electronic based, has been acclaimed by websites such as the cult Popjustice and Popbitch. In 2006, Kavana played a recurring role in a number of episodes of E4`s Hollyoaks: In the City and began working with Jools Holland as a session vocalist and backing singer. In 2007 he appeared as a contestant on Grease Is the Word, making it through to the final.
