John-Andrew was born and raised in the North-East of England with his parents and 4 younger sisters. From a young age he found a passion in music and the arts, following on from his mother's footprints of being a professional singer. At school he played various roles in musical theatre such as Danny in Grease and the fabulous intricate character Fagin from Oliver! From that, he took performing arts at college and then worked at a secondary school as a Performing Arts Teaching Assistant for two terms before starting a career in professional entertainment!

In 2006 John-Andrew was selected to join a show team in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean along with 6 other performers. After returning to the UK, he was then offered a position as an Entertainments Manager in the South of France where he began work in 2007. John made friends with a local act Clodan, a French singer, and spent the summer in France and winter in India. John and Clodan worked together in the French Riviera performing at private parties, birthdays and public venues such as restaurants and bars.

While John was in France he also took part in Star Academie the French version of Fame Academy. Reaching the second round of auditions John had much publicity from newspapers and radio interviews, not only in France, but at home in the UK and even as far as Reunion Island off the east coast of Africa! John was also named Artist of the Week on BBCi.

For winter 2007/08 John-Andrew worked with Island Cruises in Brazil and Argentina as the lead male vocalist for the show team. John then began touring Mallorca with the Soul Town Swingers in May 2008, in one of the most popular shows on the island: A Tribute To Westlife. After working non-stop performing in nearly 2000 shows in 3 years continuously, John-Andrew decided to take a well-earned break and went on hiatus in Australia for a whole year where he toured the continent.

After a year out, John-Andrew returned to the UK in January 2010 and is now establishing himself as a leading male vocalist on the UK circuit.
