Hannah Northedge is magnetically charismatic singer whose utterly distinctive voice has ensured a reputation as one of the UK’s most sought after jazz vocalists. With powerful vocal tones, especially in the sultry lower register, Hannah has carved a niche as one of the few true remaining proponents of old-style glamour.
Hannah’s CV boasts a frightening array of experience with credits from clubs, TV and feature length film. Hannah has performed at well respected venues and festivals such as the Greenwich Jazz festival, the 606 Jazz Club, the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Trinity Church and very shortly, will perform at the 100 Club, the Bude and Kinsale Jazz festivals and the Chantilly Western Show, Paris. Hannah has been the singer for the Rat Pack Trio and Orchestra since 2006 and continuously plays to sell out crowds at the head of their band.
Hannah has credits on the soundtracks of major motion pictures The Oxford Murders and Copying Beethoven. She even played Hitler’s secretary in BBC docudrama Days that Shook the World. Hannah has also performed for some of the most important people in England when she took to the stage at Westminster Method Central Hall in 2005 for Her Royal Highness the Queen, Prince Phillip and former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
