Originally from a small fishing village called Dudley, David Hill now resides in Brighton & Hove.

Having astounded the academic world with his brilliance, particularly in Home Economics, he turned his back on it for a career in show business. He ventured into the entertainment arena as one half of the vocal harmony duo, Cocktail, before going solo as a vocal comedy entertainer. As a cabaret artist, he has travelled extensively In Europe and supported several international stars such as Bernard Manning! He has worked all over the UK, performing in small clubs to vast holiday centres.

In 1994 David took to sunnier climes, appearing as the headline act for the Dickens Music Hall on the island of Ibiza. Following the success of this summer season, the show then transferred for the winter to La Ballena Theatre In Tenerife. The summer of 1995 saw David back in Ibiza, but this time `topping` at the prestigious Palladium Theatre and Casino. All of these shows were for the travel company Airtours and they subsequently offered him the position of Overseas Entertainments Manager, a role that required him to start the company`s entertainment division.

In 1999, David toured the Mediterranean with his one-man show, ending the run in Mallorca on the Millennium Eve. Since moving to "Hove Actually", David has regularly hosted Fully Charged at The Pavillion Theatre In Brighton. Most recently he appeared there as the special guest for An Audience With Barbara Nice.

In December 2000, David made his panto debut at the Theatre Royal, Brighton, playing an Ugly Sister. This brand new production of Cinderella, starring Julian Clary, was met with great critical acclaim and broke all box office records. Alongside Tony Jackson, who plays the other "Ugly", David is one of the original cast members from this production and he has been with it in Richmond, Woking, Birmingham and Bristol. nine years on and he still hasn`t managed to marry the prince!

David has made numerous radio broadcasts. Over the last four years he has been a regular host on the BBC Southern Counties' Breakfast Show, presented by Jo Good and most recently hosted by Julian Clary.
