Daniel De Bourg has recently been taking his marvellous vocals around the UK with the 2008 X Factor Tour. A finalist on the live show, Daniel was a firm favourite with fans and judges alike and it’s no wonder considering the wealth of experience in the industry this talented and versatile performer has accumulated so far.

Daniel began his entertainment career as a dancer, auditioning for the Royal Ballet School at the age of just eleven. And six years later, he was touring the world with the Rambert Dance Company, performing in venues from San Francisco to Bangkok. A knee injury meant that Daniel would turn his attention to music, prompting him to record his own demos as well as write successful singles such as Money, which he wrote for singer Jamelia and reached number five in the UK charts.

Daniel signed to the Dreamworks record label in 2001, recording songs with the likes of music legend R. Kelly. Daniel’s top thirty hit I Need an Angel was rerecorded by 2004 American Idol winner Reuben Studdard. This number went on to be the title track of Reuben’s second album. Daniel decided to audition for the X Factor to build on these successes and has gone from strength to strength since the show’s end.
