Carolynne Good is a 26 year old singer-songwriter-entertainer, born and brought up in the city of Leeds. Carolynne first discovered a love of singing from an early age, sitting in her parent’s car singing along to her Dad’s beloved Eagles cassettes.
At the age of 14 Carolynne joined and fronted a 5 piece country band, spending her evenings and weekends travelling up and down the UK, touring the country club scene and experiencing the live circuit. Addicted to the thrill of performing live, she knew a career in entertainment and music was certain.
At 18 Carolynne left the family home in Bramley and headed to London to pursue a future as a singer-songwriter. In 2001 she signed her first contract with BMG Music and took the first steps to a professional career. Carolynne spent the next 12 months developing her song writing talents and working with a variety of other writers and producers.
In 2003 Carolynne took her place alongside 30,000 applicants to compete for one of 13 places on BBC’s Fame Academy. After being selected as one of the 13 contestants, Carolynne spent 13 weeks inside the Fame Academy House, singing live to a studio audience and viewers at home every week, including the duet If You’re Not The One with Daniel Beddingfield. In front of 7 million viewers, Carolynne was voted one of the 3 finalists.
After seeing Carolynne perform on the Fame Academy Tour, recording artist Tony Christie personally asked Carolynne to appear as supporting guest on his Armarillo Tour. Performing at theatres around the UK Carolynne also made an appearance in Tony’s show to perform with him the duet A Whole New World.
After the success of the first tour, Carolynne appeared again as supporting artist on Tony’s second Arena tour in 2005.
An energetic versatile performer, Carolynne’s powerful vocal abilities can captivate any audience.
