Pat Sharp presented his first daytime strip show for BBC Radio 1 at just twenty years of age back in 1982. Following a year on air, plus numerous Top of the Pops TV appearances, he then went on to host mid mornings at 95.8 Capital FM for a decade. Along the way he picked up a gold Sony award whilst also notching up seven hit singles and raising over £300,000 for charity as part of the infamous Stock Aitken Waterman duo 'Pat & Mick’.

He then took his mid morning slot to # 1 again, as part of seven successful years at London's Heart, becoming the only presenter ever to rate #1 on mid mornings in London on two different stations.

Pat hosts a syndicated show The Weekend Vibe which airs across the UK & around the world as far afield as Dubai & Lebanon. He also makes regular appearances on various BBC stations including BBC London 94.9. His main live radio programmes are on Smooth Radio (national) across the UK, where he is the Weekend Breakfast show host and cover for Simon Bates’ weekday breakfast show too.

Over the years his radio shows have also been broadcast on BFBS for our troops worldwide, along with programmes in flight aboard Swissair, Sabena and Britannia Airways to name but a few. On TV Pat hosted the #1 now cult rated ITV show FunHouse for 11 years (now back airing re-runs on Challenge / Sky) along with other ITV shows including the Saturday morning spectacular What's Up Doc?, 10 Sharp, The Gala Opening of Disneyland Paris, Sky One's UK Top 40 and many others, not to mention being the pioneer host of Sky Channel’s first pop video shows (Skytrax) shown across Europe via satellite & cable throughout the 80’s.

Pat has also appeared in an ITV sitcom The Slightly Filthy Show playing the part of a DJ. He won the DJ special of The Weakest Link raising £13K for charity. Add Surprise Surprise, Celebrity Squares and Noel’s House Party to the list while you’re at it. His appearance on Channel 4's The Games earned him great respect from viewers and fellow contestants alike, as he was proclaimed 'The People's Hero'.

Pat also had a cameo role in The Kevin Bishop Show on 4 and guested on The Justin Lee Collins Show and The One Show. Plus he has recently appeared on Celebrity Come Dine With Me & Never Mind The Buzzcocks which was well received by both the public and press alike. Pat is also seen regularly on Vintage TV Sky 369, plus he is also the voice over for the channel. His appearance on Celebrity Ghost Stories on Bio shows how diverse he can be when appearing on tv these days. Celebrity Eggheads for the Beeb and Ch 5’s Big Brother spin off sees Pat guesting too.

On both TV & radio his dulcet tones have voiced commercials for Pampers, Warner Bros Cinemas, Sodastream, Rice Krispies Squares, The Daily Mail, Branston Pickle & Surf to name but a few. Pat was the ‘voice’ of Endemol at Mipcom 2010. In 2011 Pat joined the 11th series of the hit ITV show I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

With 30 years live TV & Radio experience, Pat is still looking & sounding as fresh as he was a quarter of a century ago! You may have seen him in a recent copy of OK! Stay Sharp!
