Ann is a dynamic and versatile presenter, journalist and broadcaster with natural warmth and an engaging style. She is capable and authoritative with a light touch. Funny but not fluffy, and relishes the challenge of tackling any subject matter thrown at her feet.

On BBC Radio 4 and 5 Live Ann reports on the very latest ‘issues behind the headlines’ of environmental, energy, pharmacological and conservation stories from around the world. Her work takes her to some of the worlds most exciting, luxurious and challenging locations, encountering the bizarre and strange; people, rituals, customs, food and drinks.

Her own ‘have a go attitude’ has led her to getting down and dirty. Whether it is; building an animal dung and green straw house in Brazil, taking part in the mind blowing Peyote festival with Native Indians in Canada, mining Diamonds in South Africa, tramping through daffodil fields in Wales, reporting on new treatments for Alzheimer’s or tackling difficult issues and stories in the factual documentary area such as Robert Mugabe’s Hidden Millions.

She has also recently presented a new high octane motor sport series on Channel 5 and Motors TV- The World Rally Cross open Championship presented live sporting events around the world on SKY TV, Setanta and FOX USA and provided incisive commentary and voice over for The World Pool Masters, The World Snooker Championship.

Ann’s career started out in regional news television working for a number of years as a live and location hard news reporter/journalist, honing her skills researching and reporting on current affairs, travel and later sport... with a difference.

With a love of the fast moving, exotic and challenging; Ann established herself as an authoritative travel and lifestyle journalist and broadcaster of note, presenting a variety of programmes on location and studio based for Sky TV’s Travel Shop, Travel Channel and The Luxury Travel Show.

She has been widely published and contributed to a host of magazines and newspapers including Travel, Wanderlust, The Daily Mail, The Daily Express, Hair & Style, Beauty Today and Capital Times. Ann has also undertaken many speaking engagements on subjects ranging from travel, tourism, lifestyle, green and eco issues and media.

As a confident and popular live presenter Ann regularly hosts and facilitates at conferences, events, congress and symposium ranging from live music and comedy festival dates for BBC Radio 2 and ITV 1 to corporate clients O2, Suzuki, LLOYDS TSB, Thomson Holidays, RBS, Telewest Communications,(pharmaceutical) GSK, Astra Zeneca,, Roche Diagnostics, The National Maritime Organisation (part of the United Nations), Disney, particularly in telecoms, financial, pharmaceutical and travel and presents corporate and training videos.

Ann has recently acted in a number of broadcast TV commercials and as an experienced voice over artist with a range of accents and styles has many varied TV, radio, audio, talking books and narration credits for both short and long form programming. She has also been known to sing the odd jingle and sing at some low-key Jazz clubs.
