Journey South have come a long way since being runners-up on X Factor. The down-to-earth brothers saw their debut album Journey South enter the charts at No.1 going on to sell a massive 500,000 copies in the UK, 217,000 of which were in the first week.

A huge 38 date sell out national tour followed in 2006, which gained rave reviews across the board for their fantastic ability to perform and sing live each night.

2007 saw the band set up its own record label, ANCA Records, and in October they fulfilled a dream of releasing their own self-written album Home. Yet again Journey South achieved another successful top 40 album on the back of the emotive first single What I Love About Home, which has now been adopted by Banardos as their song of the moment. This all important second album is being released worldwide in territories such as Japan, Thailand, South Africa, and the USA in early 2009.

With another huge tour planned for summer 2008, and other various gigs around Europe, Journey South continue to be one of the few success stories to maintain longevity from a reality TV show.

Journey South love to perform, and this reflects in their ability to captivate any audience whenever they take to the stage.
