Mat Ricardo is one of the UK's most original variety performers. With a plethora of skills at his disposal, Mat’s incredible act mixes circus skills, juggling, balancing, comedy and magic to create a mesmerising and memorable show. Mat began his career as a street performer at London‘s famous Covent Garden where, for many years, he was the elected head of the performers association. From there he graduated to international street theatre and comedy festivals before finding himself in demand as a stage and cabaret performer. Mat is truly an international performer, appearing on stage and on TV across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Matt is a comfortable and charming presence on stage, effortlessly mixing impeccable comic timing with his amazing feats of skill, including his signature reverse tablecloth pull, which has to be seen to be believed. He has directed many short and mid-length pieces that have been performed across Europe and Asia. More recently, he created, directed and performed in his first full scale London theatre piece, The Impossibles, and followed it up with The Real Deal Vaudeville. Mat has enjoyed more than a dozen UK network TV appearances, including as a semi-regular cast member of ITV1's Cilla Black's Moment of Truth, in which, most weeks, he made it virtually impossible for any of the innocent contestants to win any prizes.

Mat has performed in countless venues across the UK and Europe, including the London Palladium, various cruise ships and many of Europe’s most respected variety theatres. He has also had the pleasure of being featured in exclusive performances for members of both the British and Jordanian Royal Families.
