Bowfiddle - Light and Classical Music

Bowfiddle strings is a collection of various groups which specialise in light and classical music for weddings, concerts, corporate and private parties. String Quartet is the traditional classic line up which adds a touch of class to any occasion; two violins, viola and cello or flute, violin, viola ad cello for a different sound.

Bowfiddle offer a wide range of music which is constantly being updated. The group can present themselves formerly in ball gowns, evening wear or a more casual style. Bowfiddle musicians have worked with the likes of Alesha Dixon, Joan Armatrading, Burt Bacharach, Spice Girls, Madonna, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Lion King and The Royal Shakespeare Company to name a few.

As well as the Quartet the group can be booked as a Trio; violin (or flute), viola and cello; or as a Duo; violin and cello.

Solo Cello - Laura Rose offers a range of mellow favourite classics ranging from Bach and Elgar to Summertime and Danny Boy. She trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has been a proffessional cellist for twenty years, working with the likes of Joan Armatrading, Burt Bacharach, Shirley Bassey, Take That, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Birmingham Opera and The Royal Shakespeare Company to name a few.

Jola Duo - is a piano and cello duo that performs beautiful light classical music. Joanne (piano) and Laura (cello) first met at the Guildhall School of music and Drama where they formed Jola. The duo began entertaining on Sundays in a popular cafe in Camden and then went on to travel further afield, providing concerts and background music in many different countries.
