Bang On! are a distinctive musical act who can turn most everyday objects into percussive instruments with amazing talent. They are made up of two highly skilled professional musicians, Kate Stephenson and Dave Smith who have performed individually with the likes of Jamie Cullum, Robyn, the Break Lites and the Magpies.

Bang On! began life at the Edinburgh Festival with just a table, four chairs, a watering can and a few pieces if rubbish turned into drums. After an excellent critical reception, the duo was invited to perform for the International Youth Festival in Taiwan. While performing at the festival, Bang On! were covered by the national TV news and were the focus of their own documentary cataloguing their experiences. Since then, Bang On! have gone on to perform in nightclubs from lands end to John O’Groats as well as touring the UK and Europe with the Dresden Dolls.

In 2007 Bang On! returned to their Edinburgh beginnings and performed their original show The Joy Of Junk at the Fringe Festival. The exuberant mix of explosive percussion and stunning visuals ensured they sold out all their performances and received five star reviews. This unique and exciting act has the ability to amaze at any event, performance, launch or conference.
