Jenessa Qua has established herself as a first class vocalist, working with Queen, George Michael, Leee John, and the world renowned London Community Gospel Choir. She even managed to be dragged on stage to sing with the legendary soul diva Chaka Khan, at an intimate gig at The Jazz Café.

Her work in the music industry lead her to audiences on the theatrical stage, as a singer in Women, Strength & History, at The Broadway and Soho Theatre in 2001. Without any formal training she got her first job as a professional actress in the chorus of Jerry Springer The Opera.

Her first principle acting role came as the gospel diva Fairy ‘Mo Town’ Godmother, in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Cambridge Arts Theatre 2004. She then became a featured Bluette on the European Tour 2005/6 with the official tribute to The Blues Brothers. Jenessa is now thrilled be involved in the historical musical Show Boat at the Royal Albert Hall.
