Ed Baines is the chef and co-owner of Randall & Aubin, located in Soho and one of London’s most renowned oyster bars. James makes regular appearances on the UK’s most well-known cookery shows, as a judge, presenter and guest chef. Ed has had an extremely varied career, at one point, leaving the critically acclaimed River Café to become the official Armani Chef.

Ed has hosted his own cooking programmes and appeared on TV cooking favourites such as Lunch With Ed Baines, Ed Baines Entertains, filmed at Randall & Aubin, Housecall, Great Food Live, Sunday Feast and Ready Steady Cook. Ed has enjoyed an extremely successful stint as one of the judges on ITV1’s hugely successful Britain’s Best Dish. Now in its third series, the show focuses on the cooking talent of Britain and travels around the country to find the best dish in the land. In addition to his judging duties on Britain’s Best Dish, Ed continues to be a favourite on ITV’s Daily Cooks Challenge.

Ed is also a published author having written Entertain, his first cookery book. This Year, Ed has published a second book, Best of British, following the great reception of Entertain. Ed is an excellent public speaker, regularly travelling the country to present awards at corporate events, speak on food topics and business issues within the catering and service industries and demonstrate his formidable talents in the kitchen.
