Steve Jones' career started when he was approached by an agent from Esquire Magazine and asked if he would like to do some freelance modelling work. Steve accepted and he spent the next few years travelling the world, advertising brands as diverse as Ralph Lauren and Coca-cola.

Since Steve`s progression from modelling to the screen, he`s been a presenter on four series of The Popfactory for HTV Wales, introducing and interviewing pop bands and solo artists. Steve has also hosted The Popfactory Awards 2002 , The Eureka Awards, and co-hosted 99 Things To Do Before You Die for Channel 5. Steve came to national prominence on Channel 4's weekend entertainment show T4.

Recently, Steve began filming the BBC TV series 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow.
