Donnaleigh Bailey is an extremely talented actress and TV personality who has enjoyed an amazingly thriving career. She began acting at the age of nine and built on a hugely promising talent to achieve the level of success she enjoys today. Donnaleigh graces living rooms across the UK daily as Nurse Michelle Corrigan on BBC favourite Doctors.

Donnaleigh began her career attending the Central Junior Television Workshop and performed in Childrens TV hits Wise Up and Scratchy and Co as well as many adverts and promotions for CITV. Donnaleigh began her senior acting career with the role of a psychotic stalker in Crossroads. She then performed a small part in Holby City before taking a minor role in Doctors ; not as Nurse Corrigan, but as a young girl with an eating disorder.

Donnaleigh soon landed her current role in Doctors and became the firm TV favourite she is today. She loves playing the role and has commented, “It`s an opportunity to play someone feisty and fearless with a bit of attitude!”. Her fantastic performance as Nurse Corrigan earned her two nominations at the 2007 soap awards, Sexiest female and Best Actress.
