Having studied at The Royal College of Music, Melanie is a gifted performer who is equally at home with Dave Brubeck as she is with Rachmaninov. Her stage presence is breath-taking and she immediately establishes a rapport with audiences of any age and nationality with her gentle self-effacing humour coupled with her astounding skill.

She has performed for the late Queen Mother and the Queen and Prince Consort of Denmark as well as for the Sultan of Oman and the rulers of the United Arab Emirates. Festival appearances include St George`s Chapel, Windsor Castle, the Great Romantics Festival in Ontario, Canada and performances in Hong Kong, Moscow and St Petersburg. Serious concert programmes include works by Grieg, Chopin, Debussy and Rachmaninov, all firm audience favourites.

Melanie has also performed on cruise ships including P&O, Radisson, Crystal and Cunard. Her cabaret act is an exciting pot pourri of genres ranging from Scott Joplin and Lloyd Webber to specially commissioned arrangements of New York New York and Lord of the Dance which has American audiences leaping to their feet.

Equally at home on the concert platform as she is on the cabaret stage being backed by bands ranging from 6 piece to 9 piece, she has all corresponding arrangements.
