A Modern Covers Band for People Who Appreciate Music

Finsbury Division features the unique vocal talents of Hannah Jane Fox. Hannah was the original female lead in the West End musical We Will Rock You. Please note, the video above shows Hannah performing with Queen.

Finsbury Division was created in 2010 to address the need for quality live music. The main aim was to move away from the same set played by covers’ bands the world over, which consists of seventies disco classics such as “We are Family” and “Mustang Sally”.

Finsbury Division have created an ultimate playlist of anthemic songs covering all decades up to and including modern indie. They play rock and pop classics from artists such as The Cure, The Eurythmics, Kings of Leon, Lady Ga Ga, The Killers, Radiohead, Blondie, Goldfrapp, Queen, Madonna, and so on...

One of the main aims of Finsbury Division was to play everything but seventies disco. There is nothing wrong with seventies disco, but as time goes by, a new generation have started to book bands and they want songs that are current for them rather than their parents. We all like a bit of cheese, however we are talking a classic stilton rather than a mild cheddar.

Finsbury Division are basically a party band for people who appreciate music.
