"Claire Phoenix has played with BBC award winner and international funk trombonist Dennis Rollins, Brad Lang (Kylie, Robbie, George Michael, Whitney Houston) and Ray Pool (Gloria Gaynor, The Drifters). She is Jazz Vocalist winner of the PureSolo Competition in association with Jazz FM radio whose judges included Sebastian Scotney (Londonjazzblogeditor), Gary King (Director of Jazz FM), Dennis Rollins and Snake Davis. Claire has studied with Liane Carroll and Sarah Colman as well as 3 years vocal training with Surrey Arts."

With a distinctive and rich voice Claire will seduce you with classic soul, jazz and pop from past to present during the first set and get you swinging and swaying in the second set with soul, swing, latin and jazz swing rythms.

Claire Phoenix has recently played at The Guardian Hay Festival, Hampton Court Palace, The Princes Hall, Aldershot, Spice of Life, London, the Hilton Group and Farnham Castle, Surrey amongst other numerous venues.

A rare talent, Claire can bring tears to your eyes with her rendition of Autumn Leaves, have you spinning with her jazz exuberance in It Don't Mean a Thing and leave you breathless dancing to her latin rythms (sung with perfect Spanish accent).

Perfect for creating party atmospheres, The Claire Phoenix band are also equally suitable for a quiet cocktail background.
