E3 Group’s Managing Director, Martin Harrigan, and Head of Operations, David Parker, recently came back back from from a recruitment visit to Budapest, Hungary. This is the first time E3 Careers, our training our recruitment division, had recruited entertainers from this part of the world.

The guys reported a successful trip finding a number of multilingual entertainers along with some excellent acrobatic dancers! The successful candidates will be offered contracts with our key tour operator clients in the Mediterranean alongside a handful of other exotic locations.

Champion flair bartenders, the Barwizards, have just signed an exclusive sole management deal with E3 Artists, the E3 Group’s artist management and entertainment booking division. Barwizards, who reached a national audience on the ITV show Britain’s Got Talent, have continued to surge in popularity in recent years. E3 Costumes, the costumes and props manufacturing division of the E3 Group, has produced a range of new show costumes for international productions across the Mediterranean. Commissioned by E3′s major travel clients, Thomas Cook and Hi! Hotels, the designs accompany a range of new and revised live shows including West End style musicals and pantomimes. The latest batch of show costumes are set to be deployed at three of Thomas Cook’s new properties where the entertainment programme is managed by E3′s production and operations department.

In addition to the new show costumes, E3 has also produced a range of new props built using acrylics, wood and other materials, including various items for our exciting live game show productions such as The Zone, which requires contestants to complete various object orientated challenges.

The E3 Artists team were proud to be involved in the recent Globe Travel Awards for our client Travel Weekly. The event, which took place on January 17th, honours outstanding service in the travel sector and is the only awards event of its kind that is voted for solely by expert travel agents.

E3 Artists arranged and co-ordinated appearances by X Factor singer Rebecca Ferguson and streetdance group Flawless in an evening hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr. Clive Jacobs, chairman of Travel Weekly’s parent company TWgroup, said: “This was the most spectacular Globes ever, with a show befitting the biggest night in the travel calendar. After a challenging year for all of us in travel, it was even more important to honour the very best of our great industry.”

E3 Academy’s 2011 term begins tomorrow with two brand new children’s dance classes at our Brighton school near Preston Park. Talented choreogrpaher and coach Lindsey Brett is set to lead Tots Stars – Baby Ballet, for children age 3 to 4 years. She is also leading the Academy’s new cheerleading course – Street Cheer, for young people aged 5 to 18 years.
