The E3 Artists and Events team in London have a busy summer events schedule for 2011, with popular acts requested by clients including The Barwizards and The Sundaes. Although you’d think the weather might be a turn off at the moment, The Bar Wizards are still continuing to be a popular booking for outdoor events. Optimistic event planners are clearly banking on a few sunny days this year for cocktailing slurping, wizard style. Meanwhile, the fabulous comedy-cabaret-girl-group, The Sundaes, are now all set for their first appearance at The Edinburgh Fringe festival, with a show co-ordinated by E3.

Other popular acts this summer include former X Factor star, Jamie Archer, who we just booked for the Viper Rooms in Harrogate – where he’s expected to rock out the crowd. We’re also getting a lot of requests for contestants from this year’s Britain’s Got Talent contest – so our agents are busy advising our clients on dates, costs and schedules.

Congratulations to singer Jai Mcdowall for his well deserved win on the 2011 series of Britain’s Got Talent. The powerful vocalist from Scotland performed to an average 12.5 million viewers in the final of the popular show. He beat the favourite to win, Ronan Parke, who finished in 2nd place.

The children’s charity Over The Wall brought together a fabulous evening of entertainment recently with the assistance of our E3 Artists booking team. Their Tribute to Paul Newman event on Sunday May 8th at the Playhouse Theatre was a great success, helping to raise money and awareness for a brilliant cause.

E3 Artists co-ordinated appearances from George and Larry Lamb, The Barwizards, X-Factor‘s Danyl Jonson, Britain’s Got Talent‘s Tobias Mead. Needless to say, the evening was a fantastic mix of comedy, magic, dance and music…those involved were over the moon!

Twist and Pulse

Having risen to fame on the 2010 series of Britain’s Got Talent, Twist and Pulse are now in hot demand for live events, dance workshops, festivals, TV and film work. E3 Artists have been working closely with this talented duo, recently securing them an appearance at Drayton Manor theme park, where the boys opened the brand new BEN10 ride.

Tobias Mead

Clients’ looking for talented solo dancers for hire at their events frequently request availability for Tobias Mead, who also rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent. Tobias has recently been in rehearsals for one of Easter 2011’s biggest events with our client Thorpe Park. Headlining their Twisted Carnival, Tobias created a brand new routine especially for these shows taking place from 22nd – 25th April.

Akai

Akai is without doubt one of the most talented and youngest of our available dancers for hire. The 11 year old street dancer is the winner of Got To Dance 2010 and is now very much in demand for public events and festivals. E3 Artists recently secured Akai, together with Twist and Pulse, as the star turns in the dance event Have To Dance at the forthcoming ArtsFest at Wellington College this summer.

Flava

Another popular act from Britain’s Got Talent, and one that our agents frequently recommend to clients, is Flava. Recently, this hip-hop dance group flew over to Frankfurt for the Nokia & Siemens Network conference. In an appearance arranged by E3 Artists, the group were cleverly disguised as waiters during the event, before exploding out into the conference with an array of crazy moves and polished routines, taking the event guests completely by surprise! A standing ovation concluded their performance and, needless to say, we had nothing but positive feedback fro our client.

Signature

Michael Jackson and Bhangra inspired dance act, Signature, continue to prove an extremely popular booking with both corporate and private events planners. E3 Artists recently secured the duo an appearance at a surprise 40th birthday party in Nottingham. In addition to their stage performance, the duo danced with the guests; everyone loved it and the E3 team managed to keep the whole event a surprise.

Flawless

Our list of cutting-edge dancers for hire wouldn’t be complete without the inclusion of Flawless. This act has gone from strength to strength since reaching the finals of Britain’s Got Talent, and recently made a huge impact with our client Travel Weekly at their Globe Travel Awards. The E3 Artists team were proud to be involved in the recent Globe Travel Awards for our client Travel Weekly. The event, which took place on January 17th, honours outstanding service in the travel sector and is the only awards event of its kind that is voted for solely by expert travel agents.

E3 Artists arranged and co-ordinated appearances by X Factor singer Rebecca Ferguson and streetdance group Flawless in an evening hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr. Clive Jacobs, chairman of Travel Weekly’s parent company TWgroup, said: “This was the most spectacular Globes ever, with a show befitting the biggest night in the travel calendar. After a challenging year for all of us in travel, it was even more important to honour the very best of our great industry.”
